Our Mission
As a Catholic College for boys in Years 5-12, we strive to empower all students to realise their academic and personal potential to actively contribute to society.
We achieve our mission by:
- Inspiring individualised learning for all students through a holistic education focused on wellbeing and the EREA Touchstones.
- Nurturing student strengths through a wide range of spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural, physical and creative endeavours.
- Valuing and cultivating high standards of academic achievement for all our students.
- Engaging in partnership with our parents/ carers, alumni and the local community.
Our graduates are enterprising global citizens who contribute to all parts of society and promote equality, equity, advocacy and social justice. These are reflected in the Colleges motto, Virtus Sola Nobilitat – Virtue is its own reward.
Our Values
Edmund Rice Tradition
As a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition, we aspire to be faithful to these four touchstones:
A 蹤獲扦 Student
A 蹤獲扦 student is a young man of faith and integrity. He is a global citizen and lifelong learner who actively contributes to society and promotes equality, advocacy and social justice. Above all, a 蹤獲扦 student lives by the College motto: Virtus Sola Nobilitat.
Virtue is its own reward.
The College crest is a symbol of our history and values. Our motto, Virtus Sola Nobilitat, is inscribed beneath the crest and translates as Virtue is its own reward. These five words remind us to be motivated by fundamental goodness, not by glory or rewards.
